Normally we suggest all the customers use Groz-Beckert needles. And Chinese needle for 144N and 156N and 166N is also very good.

Normal 3.5 inches is used for knitting children’s socks, 3.75 inches is knitted for women’s and men’s socks, and 4 inches is for the biggest size socks.

The terry selector of the free terry sock machine controls the knitting state of each knitting needle, realizing the double use of plain knitting and terry knitting, and fast switching between two knitting functions. All the beautiful and multifunction socks (such as Yoga socks and sports socks and football socks and basket socks and hiking socks etc.) need different kinds of terry in different places which can increase the compression resistance of the foot joints, also increase the friction between the feet and socks.

And selected terry does not have it and just terry in fixed needles, for example, it is half knitting the plain and half knitting terry. So, the sock pattern is very few.

Normal short sock needs about 3 minutes of knitting time, and middle sock needs about 4 minutes, and the knitting time does not have a connection with plain or selected terry or free terry.
